I've be ski racing since I was 6 years old in Blue Mountain, Ontario. I grew up skiing at Toronto Ski Club and eventually moved to Craigleith Ski Club as a visiting athlete. What started as a fun family activity has certainly grown into one of my most valued commitments, training over 25 hours a week during peak season. Since then, I've travelled all over the world competing nationally and internationally, and representing Ontario in Canadian Eastern championships, Whistler Cup and various other FIS races. I qualified for the Ontario Development Ski team and skied with them for my first year of FIS until I broke my shoulder during a ski race in Quebec. Since then, I have been focusing on regaining my strength and getting back on the slopes!
Some of my favourite places to ski include El Colorado, Chile and Whistler.
At Eastern championships I flew sunny-side up, back-somersaulted over my skis, and sat right back up. I was more worried about how far my goggles had moved down my face than anything else. My coaches got the whole thing on video and it now has over 95k views on @slalomtokyodrift THE ski fail account.
Some of my proudest achievements include several Top 3 placements in Provincial Championships and wins during the regular season, 5th in SG and two Top 10s in SG and GS at Canadian Eastern Championships and placing Top 10 in SL nationally for my age in my first year of FIS.
